Hello,

I installed several times ftt2 script on a server, for different sites and mysql seems a bit overloaded.

I wanted to know if it was possible to optimize mysql to work better with ftt2 . For example by installing index. If so on what mysql databases ?

The script already has mysql optimizations and of course, uses indexes.
You can try to optimize mysql settings ( increase buffers for example ). For better mysql optimizations you can use mysqltuner application:
wget mysqltuner.pl
perl mysqltuner.pl
